Abu Sayed Md. Kamruzzaman ndc
Director General
Mr. Abu Sayed Md. Kamruzzaman ndc is currently serving as Director General of National Cyber Security Agency (Previously Known as Digital Security Agency) since 01 January 2023. Previously he held the position of Project Director, National Academy for Development Administration, a project under the Ministry of Public Administration.
He started his civil service carrier on 25th January 1999 through 18 BCS. He obtained B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 1993. He attained a master’s in engineering (Mechanical) in 2007 from KUET and later on he achieved another Master Degree on Procurement & Supply Management from BRAC University as a government scholar. He is also a graduate of National Defense College, Bangladesh and completed NDC Course in 2022.
He also attained the Post Graduate Diploma in Macro Economic Analysis from BRAC University, Dhaka in 2009.
Throughout the carrier, Mr. Kamruzzaman held many positions in different ministries and divisions as Assistant Chief, Senior Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief in Planning Commission. He also served as National Project Coordinator of “Safe and Environment Friendly Ship Recycling Project” implemented by International Labor Organization (ILO) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on lien from GoB. He also served the same Project as National Training officer (Occupational Safey).
His expertise on Development Project Management and Procurement Management. He is an enlisted Trainer of MOPA. He used to deliver lectures in different National level Training Institutions like BPATC, NAPD, BPI, NADA, NATA, etc. He also involved in different Social Development Organizations including Professional Organizations.
Mr. Kamruzzaman is happily married and blessed with one son and one daughter.
